Primavera Sound to broadcast archive festival sets to celebrate 20th anniversary
In place of the 20th anniversary festival that was cancelled this year due to coronavirus, Primavera Sound organisers will be playing a selection of past sets in full.
Primavera Sound 2020 was due to be taking place right now in Barcelona, from 3-7 June, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, organisers were forced to cancel this year's event, and move their 20th anniversary celebrations to 2021.
In place of this year's festival, Primavera Sound will be hosting a variety of archive shows from previous editions of the festival.
Primavera Sound Life will run from this afternoon through to Saturday (6 June) night, and today's shows will include sets from Destroyer, Blur, Django Django and more.
Sets from Sharon Van Etten, Caribou, Christine and the Queens, Warpaint, Jamie xx, and more will also be streamed over the next couple of days.
