Primavera Sound is heading to Buenos Aires in 2022
Primavera Sound has announced another new location for next year's festivals, which will see organisers head to Argentina's capital Buenos Aires.
After unveiling the line-up for the first edition of Primavera Sound Los Angeles and announcing Santiago, Chile as a new destination for Primavera Sound 2022, organisers have announced another new location for a 2022 festival - Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Much like the other Primavera Sound festivals, the first edition of the Primavera Sound Buenos Aires will take place across multiple venues in the city during the week, and will move to the Parque de los Niños for the weekend.

Gabi Ruiz, director of Primavera Sound said of the new location, "A Primavera Sound in Buenos Aires, in Argentina in general, makes all the sense in the world. We instantly understand each other musically because their history and our history have always gone hand in hand. Historically, Buenos Aires has been one of the capitals of pop and rock in Spanish, it is a city that has been the driving force behind many musical trends. Interacting with a scene in which so many important things have happened is something that especially excites me. We come to integrate ourselves into the city, with both enthusiasm and pride, to be a fundamental part of that engine in the future."
