A collaboration between Teenage Fan Club’s Norman Blake and Euros Childs of the now defunct Welsh band Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci, Jonny’s self-titled debut was released at the beginning of the year. A simple, guitar led record full of carefree melodies and soft vocals their new single ‘You Was Me’ follows much in the same vein. Out today, the new Ryan Owen directed video features panoramic views of the picturesque countryside which perfectly accompany the song’s shimmering and summery harmonies.
