POZI are glued to their phones on new single "Engaged"
London post-punk trio POZI have shared a foreboding love letter to mobile phones with new single "Engaged".
"Engaged" is the fourth single to be revealed from their upcoming debut record PZ1, after "Watching You Suffer", "KCTMO", and "Noel".
Speaking about the new single, drummer/vocalist Toby Burroughs explains, ""Engaged" is a love song about a mobile phone. As much as I wish it didn’t, my phone has a strong hold on me and severely impacts my ability to connect with reality."
Of their forthcoming album, Burroughs adds, "Our songs mostly have an observational standpoint, just reflecting some current social and political situations. I don’t think they have a direct impact, but maybe ask a few questions."
