Pottery share mellow new single "Hot Like Jungle"
Pottery are back with "Hot Like Jungle", a third taster of their forthcoming debut record Welcome To Bobby’s Motel.
"Hot Like Jungle" is the closing track on Pottery's debut LP, and arrives after previous offerings "Take Your Time" and "Texas Drums Pt I & II".
It also arrives with a video animated by their own drummer Paul Jacobs.
The band says of the new single, "This was written as a love song for Paul’s girlfriend. He had a job working construction one summer and came up with the lyrics almost as a sort of Springsteen parody, they’re very blue-collar. When Austin sings it we always picture him on a mountain shouting off into the distance with a girl out there singing back to him."
Welcome To Bobby’s Motel was recorded at Montreal's Break Glass studios with producer Jonathan Schenke (Parquet Courts, Snail Mail).
