Post Malone relaunches lifestyle brand Shaboink and donates 40,000 masks to frontline workers
Post Malone's Shaboink lifestyle brand has been relaunched, and he's decided to focus on important products during the coronavirus pandemic, as well as donating 40,000 face masks to frontline workers.
Shaboink was originally intended to be a CBD product company, but Post Malone has decided to make products that will help people stay safe during the COVID-19 crisis.
As well as donating 40,000 face masks to medical staff working on the frontline, Rolling Stone reports the Hollywood's Bleeding singer has also put together some "Clean Kits", which will include face masks, hand santisiser and soap, gloves, disinfectant wipes and packets of vitamin C "crystals" to help boost the immune system.
Post Malone says of his decision to create products to help with the crisis, "I’ve been working with my team on a number of unreleased products that fit into my lifestyle that I can’t wait to share with my fans, [but] when faced with COVID-19, I knew it was important to pivot to products that could help us stay clean now, so we can get back to shaboink’ing later."
The smaller package will include ten face masks and the other products for $50. There's also a "super size" box which will have 50 masks for $100. A portion of the proceeds made from sales will be donated to nonprofit organisation Direct Relief.
