Portlandia's Fred Armisen to direct Kings of Leon live-stream concert

Portlandia actor and sometime SNL cast member, Fred Armisen is set to take up the director reins for an upcoming Kings of Leon show to be streamed online.
The gig will be part of the American Express Unstaged, which last saw Steve Buscemi directing a similar gig for Vampire Weekend. This Armisen-helmed Kings of Leon show will take place at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London on 9 August.
The band’s upcoming new album, Mechanical Bull, comes out 24 September.
