Portishead singer Beth Gibbons to release new solo album

Beth Gibbons, frontwoman of influential Bristol outfit Portishead, is to release her first solo effort in over a decade later this year.
The singer last released a record apart from the group in 2002, teaming up with Talk Talk bassist Paul Webb (under the guise of Rustin Man) for LP Out of Season. Now, she’ll release a lone full-length via Domino Records during 2013.
Portishead last released an album in 2008 with Third and are currently on a tour of various European festivals.
