Poppy posts statement detailing split from creative collaborator Titanic Sinclair
Poppy has shared a statement on her recent split from collaborative partner Titanic Sinclair.
Poppy is currently in the middle of a campaign for her forthcoming album I Disagree.
So far she's released four singles from the LP, including "Fill The Crown", "BLOODMONEY", "I Disagree", and "Concrete".
On Saturday (28 December), Poppy uploaded a statement with information on her split with Titanic Sinclair. Poppy revealed the statement "was a long time coming", and added that Titanic Sinclair is a "person whom I defended in the past because I thought he was just misunderstood."
The I Disagree singer also wrote that the purpose of the statement is "due to the amount of misinformation online about me and my character and I owe it to myself to clear a few things up."
She goes on to write that she was never "an accomplice" to this person's past actions," and claims he "glamorizes suicide and has used it many times in the past to manipulate me."
Poppy also writes that he was "quick to jump in and use my former friends as his next experiment repeating manipulative patterns he has for years."
The "Concrete" singer adds that she was "trapped in a mess that I had to dig myself out of."

Poppy's upcoming album I Disagree will be her first since July's ambient album I C U (Music To Read To).
Expanding on her new LP, Poppy says, "in terms of doing what I wanted to in every element from start-to-finish, this feels like my first album. The narrative is really about destroying the things that try to destroy you."
