POP Montreal adds Kali Uchis, William Basinski, Juana Molina, and more
Juana Molina, William Basinski, Doomsquad, Kali Uchis, Aldous Harding, and more have been added to this year's POP Montreal festival.
Mourn, Lucy Dacus, Aba & Preach, Love Theme (the new project from Dirty Beaches' Alex Zhang Hungtai), Petra Glynt, and more are also joining the party.
These new names join the likes of Austra, Royal Trux, Weyes Blood, Thee Oh Sees, RZA, Bing & Ruth, Elza Soares, Jay Som, Jessy Lanza, The Besnard Lakes, Serpentwithfeet, Swet Shop Boys, Think About Life, Vagabon, Nnamdi Ogbonnaya, and Mount Eerie. Pierre Kwenders is also playing the festival - check out our new live session.
As well as the music, POP Montreal have added G.R.O.S.S., an "all-female multimedia group show" featuring the likes of Tricia Middleton, Nadine Faraj, Rebecca Storm, and Jana Sterbak. The exhibit opens tomorrow (13 Jult) at the Never Apart art space and runs through the festival.
