Pond are disco ready with their new track and video "Sixteen Days"
Australia psych outfit Pond return with nostalgic disco vibes on new track and video for "Sixteen Days"
In July Pond returned with their eight-minute magical cut "Burnt Out Star".
New track "Sixteen Days" arrives just short of three minutes, and embraces their native psychedelic sound with a twist of sultry disco, which is reiterated with their Kristofski-directed visuals.
Frontman Nicholas Allbrook explains, "‘Sixteen Days" is about, once upon a time, being jealous and paranoid, too ground down and mad to enjoy love and Genoa."
"Sixteen Days" and "Burnt Out Star" are the first tracks since Pond's 2017 record The Weather.
Pond will perform at California's Desert Daze Festival later this month alongside friends Tame Impala, and will then embark on their US tour. Find out more.
