Poliça have released new track "Violence" as the second taster of their forthcoming album Madness.
"Violence" is the second song to be lifted from Poliça's new album, following last month's lead outing "Alive". Lead vocalist Channy Leaneagh says, "Along with the core members of the band, the new single "Violence" brings on some of Poliça’s favorite collaborators like Velvet Negroni’s Jermey Nutzman, Boys Noize, Dustin Zahn, CJ Camererie and Aaron Baum to bring a slow-building dance-ish take on someone else’s problems."
Madness will follow Poliça's 2020 album When We Stay Alive, and was largely recorded in 2020 and 2021 at producer Ryan Olson's Minneapolis studio.
"Violence" is out now. Poliça's Madness album will arrive via Memphis Industries on 3 June, and is available to pre-order now.
