Polaris Music Prize 2021 longlist revealed featuring The Weather Station, Mustafa and more

The 40 albums that make up the 2021 Polaris Music Prize longlist have been announced, after Backxwash won the 2020 Polaris Music Prize for her God Has Nothing to Do With This Leave Him Out of It album.

The 2021 longlist was was narrowed down from 204 albums by the 199 member jury. The Polaris Music Prize 2021 winner will receive $50,000, while the nine other acts on the shortlist will receive $3,000 each from Slaight Music.
