Players on The Last Of Us Part II are covering real songs on Ellie's guitar
The Last Of Us Part II players have managed to cover real songs using Ellie's guitar in-game.
Last Friday (19 June), the highly-anticipated PlayStation game The Last Of Us Part II was released, seven years after the first game.
Early in the game, Joel (the player that users control in the first game) gifts Ellie (the player users control in the second game) with an acoustic guitar and teaches her how to play it.
The second game allows players to access the guitar throughout. If players strum the right chords, Ellie will begin to sing one of the songs Joel taught her, but some users have discovered that you can actually recreate real songs on Ellie's guitar.
Video game blog VG247 have posted a YouTube video showing Ellie playing some real life songs, including Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Californication", Radiohead's "Creep", The White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army", Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here", Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah", and more.
Taylor Guitars have also created two models designed with game developers Naughty Dog which are available to buy now.
