Pixx signs to 4AD, announces debut EP Fall In
Pixx, a 19-year-old BRIT alumna with dream-pop aspirations, has announced that she's signed a deal with 4AD, and will release her debut EP Fall In with them.
She's also shared the video for the EP's title track.
Pixx (then as Pix, previously as Hannah Rodgers) burst into the forefront last year with "A Way To Say Goodbye", which we described as "a warped folktronica number, with grand pop pianos, fey pastel-shade dream-haze synths, and embers at its core giving a warmth of soul."
Pixx said of the new deal with 4AD: "It's incredible to be welcomed with open arms to a label that is home to so many artists that have influenced me over the years."
The Fall In EP is out via 4AD on 28 August. She'll play London twice next month, once at VISIONS Festival, (8 August) and again the Servant Jazz Quarters on 25 August.
