Pixies sack new bassist Kim Shattuck
Recently-recruited Pixies bass player, Kim Shattuck has confirmed that she’s parted ways with the band.
Shattuck replaced long-term bassist and vocalist Kim Deal, who left the alt-rock group earlier this year. The musician, also a member of The Muff, took to Twitter last night (29 November) to reveal that her time with Black Francis and co has been cut short.
She described the stint as an “amazing experience”, whilst admitting that she was “disappointed” with the news.
