Pixies' Black Francis to host film and literature event at British Library
On the back of his band’s recent comeback album, it appears that Pixies frontman Black Francis is now shifting his attention towards his upcoming graphic novel, hosting a film and literature event at the British Library on 7 June.
Francis - along with his book’s co-creators Josh Frank and Steven Appleby - will present screenings of Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dalí‘s Un Chien Andalou and Georges Méliès’s 1902 film A Trip To The Moon, along with a Q&A discussion and book signing.
The singer’s new graphic novel The Good Inn is reportedly about “the making of the world’s first narrative pornographic film”. It’ll be on display at the British Library for the entire evening.
