Pixey announces upcoming EP with new song "Life In Stereo"
Liverpool's Pixey is back with news of her upcoming EP Sunshine State, and has released new track "Life In Stereo" to accompany the announcement.
"Life In Stereo" is the second track to be lifted from Sunshine State, after last month's title-track, and is co-produced by Pixey.
Pixey says the new song is "The first tune I wrote & recorded at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool. I finished writing it in a day - we started the tune from scratch in the morning and I added some of my own production & finished the lyrics in the evening. I love writing about the way music makes you feel, and "Life In Stereo" is exactly that. I’m surrounded by music all the time so I wanted an upbeat, uncomplicated tune about quite literally being the music."
Sunshine State will follow Pixey's Free To Live in Colour EP from March. Pixey wrote, recorded and produced the EP in her Liverpool bedroom, and got additional production from James Dring (Gorillaz, Jamie T).
