Pity Sex announce new album, share new track "Burden You"
Ann Arbor four-piece Pity Sex have announced the release of their second album, White Hot Moon.
The follow up to 2013 debut Feast Of Love will see release this April. The band have shared a first taste of the record in the form of "Burden You", which can be streamed below.
"We thought a lot about pop conventions and how they work, and we're purposefully playing around with that," Sean St. Charles describes of the band's forthcoming record. "I'm not interested in hearing about someone's mundane day-to-day life,” Britty Drake adds. “Love and relationships - not just romantic relationships, but in general - are things everyone can relate to, and I tend to gravitate towards universal experiences. People are the main inspiration for me.”
White Hot Moon is released via Run For Cover on 29 April, and is available for preorder now.
