Pins announce memorabilia auction and Andy Warhol club night
PINS are set to auction of rare merch and unique personal affects from tonight.
The full list of items and experiences up for grabs can be found on PINS' website.
Guitarist Lois MacDonald says of the plans: "Touring the USA is a dream for any band, but my god it's expensive. We've decided to auction off some of our treasure in order to fund the trip. It's really personal stuff, one off test pressings, actual pieces of the Super 8 footage from the 'Dazed by You' video, the original Polaroid from the Wild Nights artwork, lyrics straight from Faith's notebook! It's tough to part with this stuff!"
Listings begin every 15 minutes from 6pm tonight (26 January) and end 2 February. Find out more.
Proceeds will go towards helping PINS get to SXSW and other North American shows.
As well as all this, PINS have announced a new Andy Warhol-themed club night named 'SUPERSTARS: A Night Celebrating All Things Warhol'. It takes place in a secret Salford location on 5 March, and PINS will be performing a one-time-only set of Velvet Underground covers. They band ask that you arrive dressed as your "favourite factory boy or girl".
Wild Nights is out now on Bella Union.
