Pinegrove are reissuing compilation LP Everything So Far
After capturing our hearts with the excellent Cardinal last year, Pinegrove are reissuing their compilation record Everything So Far.
Doing pretty much what it says on the tin, Everything So Far compiles the band's releases prior to Cardinal, including debut album Meridian alongside EPs and singles.
The compilation is now being reissued on vinyl and CD. Physical versions of the reissue all feature a brand-new, 16-page booklet documenting the band’s earliest moments through lyrics and photos.
On Inauguration Day this month, Pinegrove released a live album Elsewhere, with all proceeds going to the Southern Poverty Law Center.
"We are saying 'hey, listen, we’re in this,'" drummer Zack Levine told mic.com of the band's plan to use their music to resist Donald Trump's agenda for the next four years. "We are paying attention. We are shifting our priorities to center around this, and we understand that it is our responsibility to do so."
"This is not going to be a flash in the pan, a New Year’s resolution abandoned in February," he assured. "We fully plan on staying engaged and active about this for the rest of our lives."
