French alt-rockers, Phoenix have been forced to scrap their previously-scheduled London show as part of this year’s iTunes festival after their frontman Thomas Mars fell ill.
The band, who had been booked to play the Roundhouse tomorrow night, posted the following message to Facebook:
“Unfortunately Thomas won’t be able to sing as he is ill and not able to travel. We are very sorry that our show at the iTunes Festival on Saturday, 7 September is cancelled.”
The iTunes Festival runs all month at the Camden venue, with the likes of Katy Perry and the Pixies still to perform headline shows.
