Phoebe Bridgers' "Sidelines" song previewed in new Conversations with Friends trailer
A snippet of Phoebe Bridgers' forthcoming song "Sidelines" soundtracks the new trailer for Conversations with Friends, a TV adaption of Sally Rooney's novel of the same name.
Yesterday (12 April) Phoebe Bridgers shared a pre-save link for a new song called "Sidelines", and fans can now hear a preview of the song in the new Conversations with Friends trailer.
Conversations with Friends is set to premiere on 15 May, and is a TV series based on Sally Rooney's novel of the same name.
This summer Bridgers' Punisher album celebrates its second birthday, and although she has been busy working with the likes of Bright Eyes, Christian Lee Hutson, Harrison Whitford, MUNA and Taylor Swift, and covering songs by Billie Eilish and Bo Burnham, "Sidelines" will mark her first release as the lead artist since 2020's Punisher.
Last month Bridgers and Bright Eyes covered Elliott Smith's "St. Ides Heaven".
