Phoebe Bridgers responds to David Crosby calling her SNL guitar smash "pathetic"
Phoebe Bridgers has shared a brilliant response to David Crosby calling her recent Saturday Night Live guitar-smashing stunt "pathetic".
Bridgers performed two tracks from her Grammy nominated second album Punisher during her Saturday Night Live debut over the weekend (6 February), and proceeded to try and smash up her Danelectro guitar, which sent sparks flying, at the end of "I Know The End".
The guitar-smashing stunt made some people angry, leading Bridgers' fans, friends and collaborators to defend the singer/songwriter, with Bridgers herself shrugging off the backlash by sharing fan responses to the criticism.
On Sunday (7 February), someone on Twitter asked David Crosby, "What did you think of Phoebe Bridgers' attempt to smash a guitar last night on SNL?" Crosby replied bluntly, "Pathetic".
Last night (8 February), Bridgers responded to Crosby's negative Tweet with a equally blunt, yet hilarious response. She wrote, "little bitch."

Crosby continued criticising Bridgers' performance in other Tweets. He wrote, "Guitars are for playing ..making music .....not stupidly bashing them on a fake monitor for childish stage drama."
Following her SNL debut last weekend, Bridgers revealed that the stunt was planned, and that Danelectro "wished me luck and told me they’re hard to break".
In another Tweet, Bridgers also confirmed that the monitor she smashed her guitar on was a fake one.
