Phoebe Bridgers got a tattoo of the sword and note gifted to her by a fan at 2019 show
Phoebe Bridgers has a new tattoo, and it represents the moment a fan gifted her a note and sword at a show, before stabbing the note with the sword.
In March 2019, Bridgers revealed a fan gifted her a sword and a note at a Better Oblivion Community Center show, after she she corrected an article on The Niche Blog, "I was on tour with Ryan [Adams] on women’s day a few years ago and he got every woman on the crew a sword except for me."
Bridgers also shared an image of the sword and note, with the note stabbing the note that showed three tick boxes that read: "To protecc, to attac, to look fucking tight as hecc."

Yesterday (14 January), Bridgers uploaded an image of her new tattoo, which shows a sword stabbing a note. She wrote, "a fan brought me a note with a sword stabbed into it after a show and someone else got a tattoo of it so I did too. Thank you Doctor Woo ...and that is my wrist."
