Phoebe Bridgers announces new EP with Copycat Killer version of "Kyoto"
Phoebe Bridgers is back with news of her upcoming Copycat Killer EP, and has shared a new version of "Kyoto" as the lead single.
"Kyoto" originally featured on Bridgers' second album Punisher that landed in June, and today (10 November) Bridgers has unveiled a tender new version of the song, complete with orchestral strings.
The new version of "Kyoto" is the first new release from Bridgers since contributing vocals to Bright Eyes' "Miracle Of Life" song last month.
Bridgers' Copycat Killer EP will feature four new versions of tracks from her Punisher album, put together with help from string player Rob Moose (Bon Iver, Paul Simon, Taylor Swift, The Killers).
Last month Bridgers launched her Saddest Factory label in partnership with Dead Oceans.
