Phil Taggart's book features contributions from Charli XCX, Little Simz, Run The Jewels, and more
Radio 1 DJ Phil Taggart is bringing out a new book on the music industry, which features contributions from Charli XCX, Little Simz, Run The Jewels, and others.
Phil Taggart's The Slacker Guide to the Music Industry will be a 364-page book offering experience and knowledge on all corners of the music industry, including fanbases, PR, management, streaming, and more.
Some of the artists lending their knowledge include Charli XCX, Little Simz, Run The Jewels, Annie Mac, Biffy Clyro, Blossoms, Wolf Alice, Nao, and Slaves.
Commenting on his first book, Taggart said, "There are so many moving parts to the music industry to get a handle on when you are just starting out - hopefully the last few years gathering the great and the good of music together for this book will help a little bit and free up some brain space to focus on what’s important… playing and performing."
Adding more info on Twitter, Taggart wrote, "I've just written the book you need if you're trying to make your way through the music industry. 70 contributions from the biggest acts to the most knowledgable industry."
