One half of legendary duo The Everly Brothers, Phil Everly has passed away at the age of 74.
The American musician, who formed the group with his brother Don, died in California on Friday (3 January) from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
His wife Patty told the Los Angeles Times: “We are absolutely heartbroken. He fought long and hard.”
