Pharrell Williams talks new Daft Punk album in video interview
Following interviews with Giorgio Moroder, Todd Edwards and Nile Rodgers, Daft Punk have revealed the latest in their ‘Collaborators’ video series preceding their upcoming new LP.
This time it’s Pharrell’s turn and it might just be the most extravagant episode to date, with Williams saying “the robots” are not “bound by time and space”, before revealing that he met the pair at one of Madonna’s parties.
Pharrell goes on to discuss recording with Daft Punk and Rodgers in Paris, in which he was – kind of – drugged by the pair. “This music is beyond 3D, it’s like 4D”, he continues. “You don’t need MDMA on this music, it’s already so vivid.”
