The latest issue of Elle UK sees Pharrell Williams donning a Native American headdress, much to the chagrin of commentators online.
The photo shoot by Doug Inglish has been deemed as cultural appropriation and offensive, with Pharrell later apologising for his actions. “I respect and honor every kind of race, background and culture,” he told Buzzfeed. “I am genuinely sorry.”
As of yet, Elle haven’t issued a statement on the matter.
