We haven't heard anything from rosy-cheeked Parisian Petite Meller since she dropped debut album Lil Empire as a surprise back in 2016. After three years of silence, she's finally back with buoyant new single "Aeroplane".
As raucous as her previous singles, "Aeroplane" sees Meller continue in her signature style of Paul Simon-inspired beats and multilingual lyricism. She explains that the track's inspiration came from her travels as a musician, where she felt her body like an aeroplane riding on the wings of music.
Meller's Instagram page promises "NEW ALBUM ON THE WAY!!", though does not offer any further details or clarification.
"Aeroplane" is out now.
