Festivals are the place for ad hoc performances, guest appearances and cover songs and former Walkmen member Peter Matthew Bauer kept up this tradition by playing his Big Top show with a band he found on Twitter.
Bauer explained "I arrived in London without a band so I sent a Twitter to see if I could get one,and these guys replied. We met yesterday and this is our first show together."
Bauer's new band even managed to help him flesh out and complete a new song, fitting in seamlessly with the rest of his storming set.
The magic of festivals, huh?
