PETA respond to Saweetie's "Icy Chain" name drop by sending rapper a faux fur coat
Saweetie's latest single "Icy Chain" mentions PETA in the lyrics, and the organisation has since responded to the name drop by revealing they're sending a faux fur coat to the rapper.
Last Friday (19 November) Saweetie unveiled her new single "Icy Chain" ahead of her SNL debut, and in the song, she raps: "Mink on my body like I just went hunting / Tell PETA I'm being one hunnid / That icy girl still rock a fur in the summer / Left fashion week, hella casualties (Yeah)."
Earlier this week PETA shared a video on socials responding to the name drop, which sees a member of the organisation leaving the office with a faux fur coat to post to Saweetie. They captioned the post, "Got your message Saweetie. We’ll be 100 too, being icy doesn’t mean having an icy heart. Let minks keep their fur, wear this faux."
