Peggy Sue announce new album and UK tour
Peggy Sue have announced that second album Acrobats will be released in the UK on September 12 via Wichita Recordings, and in the US in October on Yep Roc Records.
Following on from their first album Fossils And Other Phantoms, which was released last year, the new album promises to be heavier, with only one track featuring acoustic guitar – but with the familiar dual vocals and tribal drums of the debut.
You can listen to the first song from the new album, ‘Cut My Teeth’ below.
Peggy Sue have also announced a UK tour, beginning with a release party at London’s Lexington on September 12, where they will play with Laura Gibson. The band will then take in Winchester, Bristol, Manchester and Leeds.
