Peggy Sue and Landshapes members cover Wildbirds & Peacedrums as part of LDN choir DEEP THROAT
Hackey choir DEEP THROAT, featuring members of Peggy Sue and Landshapes, have covered a track by Wildbirds & Peacedrums in a spine-tingling fashion.
The choral rendition of the Swedish outfit's "The Wave" is all jagged harmonies and abrupt staccato, and Peggy Sue's Rosa Slade performs a vocal solo at the beginning. You can watch footage of the rehearsal performance at the bottom of the page.
DEEP THROAT recently completed recording backing vocals for Duke Spirit's forthcoming LP, and will also release a split cassette with Landshapes on Bella Union in the Spring.
The choir will be performing a set on 19 February at the Total Refreshment Centre in London with Landshapes and ADA; more information can be found here.
