PEAKES share first single of 2021 "An Infinite Divide"
Yorkshire three-piece PEAKES have returned with new track "An Infinite Divide", which marks their first release of 2021.
"An Infinite Divide" is PEAKES' first new material since their Pre Invented World EP landed in June last year.
They say of the new song, "The infinite divide is the chasm that grows between our real selves and our projected selves when we choose to exist online. In the song we question our need to condense our lives into show reels and flattering narratives and what affect that has on our relationships and our ability to connect with others."
On Twitter, the band added, "This last year has been hard but we feel lucky we could focus on creating and writing. "An Infinite Divide" is the 1st of many new songs we self produced thru lockdown & we’re so excited for you to hear them!"
