Peaches returns with "absurd and fun" new single "Pussy Mask"
Legendary feminist icon, musician and producer Peaches has returned with her "absurd and fun" first single of 2021, "Pussy Mask".
"Pussy Mask" is Peaches' first outing as the lead artist in 2021, following last year's "Flip This", which marked her first original song in five years.
The NSFW track is teamed with an animated visual directed by Leah Shore, and animated by Shore and Rob Yuflo.
Peaches explains of the single, "Because of the pandemic, our collective anxieties unite us more than ever. Even though it may not affect each one of us the same way, we all have similar base concerns. A serious reminder that we are all in this together. I wanted the song to be absurd and fun but also a reflection of our concerns. The humor shines some light into our dark, confusing, and frustrating reality."
The new single will also be released as a 7" vinyl on 25 June that is available to pre-order now.
Last month Peaches featured on Deap Vally's "High Horse" with KT Tunstall.
