Brainfeeder's PBDY announces debut album with Samuel T. Herring collaboration "Tears or Rain"
Brainfeeder-signed producer PBDY has announced his debut album Careworn, alongside revealing new Samuel T. Herring collaboration "Tears or Rain".
"Tears or Rain" features Future Islands vocalist Samuel T. Herring, who has previously collaborated with BADBADNOTGOOD, Clams Casino, Du Blonde, Earl Sweatshirt, Madlib, and others.
It's also the lead single to be released from PBDY's forthcoming debut album Careworn.
PBDy's forthcoming album will feature collaborations with Salami Rose Joe Louis, Casey MQ, Anika, Laurence O'Hara, and other instrumental contributions from Jeff Parker (Tortoise), Miguel Atwood-Ferguson (violin), and drummer Justin Brow (Thundercat).
Speaking about Careworn, PBDY says, "It’s about the feeling of the unknown, wanting to feel better not sure if one should be allowed to feel that way. Revelling in sadness can create such beauty but what degree of masochism do we need to go through to find this place of peace with what’s given in life?"
