Pavement announce first UK shows in over a decade
Pavement have announced a reunion tour that will see them play shows in the UK and Europe next year, marking their first tour in over a decade.
Pavement were originally due to perform a reunion show at Primavera Sound 2020, but the festival was cancelled due to the pandemic for two consecutive years, meaning their reunion performance was pushed back to 2022.
This morning (8 September) Pavement, aka Stephen Malkmus, Scott “Spiral Stairs” Kannberg, Mark Ibold, Bob Nastanovich and Steve West, have announced their first official tour in over 10 years, with a list of dates in the UK and Europe, including a four night residency at the Roundhouse in London.
Pavement's reunion tour is set to take place in October and November 2022, and will begin with their Primavera Sound and NOS Primavera Sound festival appearances in June next year.
