Paul Epworth wins third Best Producer BRIT Award
The Music Producers Guild awards took place last night, with Paul Epworth carrying off the top prize. Winning that means he automatically scoops his third BRIT in 7 years as well.
Named UK Producer of the Year, again, following his 2010 and 2013 wins, Epworth's work in 2014 with the likes of Glass Animals, Lorde, Lana Del Rey, U2, Coldplay and FKA Twigs helped him seal his win. He was presented with the 2015 BRIT Award for Best Producer at at the same time.
Other winners included Damon Albarn (Award for Inspiration), Giorgio Moroder (Award for Innovation), Dan Auerbach (International Producer of the Year), Sam Smith (UK Single Song Release of the Year) and Dave Stewart of Eurythmics (Outstanding Contribution to UK Music).
