Paul Epworth wins BRIT Award for 'Best Producer'
The man behind Adele and Florence and the Machine, Paul Epworth has won a BRIT Award for ‘Best Producer’ at a pre-ceremony event.
Epworth, who has also worked with Azealia Banks in recent times, won the award at the MPG Awards (Music Producers Guild) last night (7 February).
Florence Welch spoke about working with Epworth on her second album, Ceremonials, saying: “His innovation and passion are constantly inspiring, and I am grateful to have worked with him on an album that I am so proud of.”
Yesterday, it was revealed that Taylor Swift will be performing at this year’s BRIT Awards.
The BRIT Awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday 20 February 2013 at London’s O2 Arena, with James Corden hosting the night for the third year running.
For the first time, the trophy statue will be designed by Damien Hirst, following on from Sir Peter Blake’s design in 2012, and Vivienne Westwood’s in 2011.
