Panda Bear streams new mixtape
Available via a new website, PBVSGR.com, the release from Animal Collective’s Panda Bear - real name Noah Lennox - appears to prelude concrete information about his apparently-upcoming fifth solo LP, originally slated for sometime in 2014.
However, the original working title of Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper may have changed, due to clues given in the hyperlink, to Panda Bear VS Grim Reaper. Perhaps relations have soured?
As Stereogum note, it’s not all fresh sounds from Lennox, and there’s some Moodyman x Laidback Luke in there, among other things. At least it’s a start on the path towards the new album, and that’s what matters.
You can also glimpse possible artwork in on the website, or the stream below if you’re not feeling up to glaring at various psychedelic imagery.
