Panda Bear announces new album Buoys with aquatic track "Dolphin"
Experimental musician Panda Bear (Noah Lennox) reveals news of his next album Buoys, alongside revealing maritime track "Dolphin".
"Dolphin" is the first track to be revealed from the Animal Collective member's next record.
The aquatic-themed track arrives with a trippy digital animation by Crash Override.
Panda Bear's sixth record is co-produced and co-mixed with longtime collaborator Rusty Santos. They recorded the album in Lennox's adopted home of Lisbon, Portugal.
The two last collaborated on Panda Bear's Person Pitch album, which turned 10 last year.
Buoys will follow his 2017 vinyl-only EP A Day With The Homies, and features contributions from Chilean DJ/vocalist Lizz, and Portuguese musician Dino D'Santiago.
Lennox's last album was 2015's Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper. He also released a surprise five-track EP the same year.
