Palace announce second album with lead single "Martyr"
Indie trio Palace have announced their second full-length Life After with new single "Martyr".
"Martyr" is the third single to be shared that features on their forthcoming album, after last year's "No Other" and "Heaven Up There".
Life After will be Palace's follow up to their 2016 debut So Long Forever. Expanding on the record, frontman Leo Wyndham says, "While there are a couple of different threads to the record, ultimately there’s a romance to it alongside a feeling of looking to the future through a new lens. While still being aware of the unknown, you can allow yourself to feel hopeful, stronger and grateful for what you’ve got."
Palace began creating their upcoming album at The Arch in Tottenham, before recording it in summer 2018 with Catherine Marks (St Vincent, Wolf Alice, PJ Harvey) at Willesden’s Assault & Battery studios, and Luke Smith (Foals, Slow Club) at Tottenham's Jump Studios.
Last week their tour van was stolen after their show in Leeds - luckily none of their music gear was inside.
