OutKast's Big Boi and Run The Jewels' Killer Mike teaming up on new EP
Big Boi and Killer Mike are set to release a joint EP, the OutKast member confirmed.
In a new interview with SPIN, Big Boi said: “Wait until you hear this new shit... we’ve been entertaining the idea for a long time and finally got enough songs to where we just said the other night that we’re gonna do it.”
Don't expect the release to be soon though - Big Boi said they're waiting until his next solo LP is out. The follow up to 2012 reocrd Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumours is "halfway done".
It's not super surprising that the pair have opted to go it together - they've worked together numerous times in the past, with Killer Mike appearing on OutKast LPs Stankonia and Speakerboxxx/The Love Below.
