Oscar's new "Sometimes" video co-stars a lowrider club, a vape team, and more
Oscar has lifted the lid on his video for "Sometimes", the latest preview of upcoming debut LP Cut and Paste.
The clip was shot in L.A., and directed by Bryan Schlam (Kendrick Lamar, Flux Pavillion). It features a range of niche organisations and societies, such as the Cloudy Knights Vape Team, The Cow Town Singles Squaredance Club, and Mr P’s Lowrider Club.
Speaking about the video for "Sometimes", Schlam says: "Shooting sometimes was like taking a road trip. I wanted portraiture of the most obscure groups and clubs I could find to drive the video... and we literally had to drive for around three days to shoot everyone (at times for hours!). We ended up with a perfect mix of kitsch and beauty. Turns out Oscar is an amazing performer, holding his own in every set up, including competitive vapers immersing him in smoke rings, and square dancers improvising choreography."
Cut and Paste is out 13 May on Wichita.
