Orville Peck announces new release date for Show Pony EP
Orville Peck has finally announced a new release date for his upcoming EP Show Pony.
In May, Orville Peck announced his new EP Show Pony, which features his recent singles "No Glory In The West" and "Summertime".
The EP was originally due to arrive on 12 June, but last month Orville Peck shared a post explaining his decision to delay the EP release. He wrote, "We’re undergoing a huge overdue worldwide transformation thanks to the Black Lives Matter movement and that is mainly what I want to put my focus on at the moment."
Yesterday (14 July) on socials, the masked country singer/songwriter announced a new release date for the EP with a picture of him and Shania Twain, who features on the EP, "Hey everybody - Show Pony will be officially released August 14th. I can barely believe that I got THE country music icon on a duet I wrote for it. As the kids say - it’s a bop. Can’t wait for y’all to see what we’ve cooked up."
