Original Ramones drummer Tommy Ramone dies at 65

Tommy Ramone, best known as the original drummer for punk legends the Ramones, passed away over the weekend at the age of 65.
Real name Thomas Erdelyi, the founding member lost his battle with bile duct cancer on Friday (11 July). Erdelyi was the last surviving original member of the group.
Featuring on the band’s first three albums, Ramones, Leave Home, and Rocket to Russia, as well as live LP It’s Alive, Erdelyi left the Ramones in 1978.
