Oneohtrix Point Never unveils very NSFW video for 'Still Life (Betamale)'
-
Collaborating with artist and filmmaker Jon Raffman, electronic musician Oneohtrix Point Never has shared his new video for ‘Still Life (Betamale)’.
Drawing from a range of fetish sites, it’s a nightmarish journey through disturbing, 90s era-looking internet footage: explicit anime, furries, unhygienic keyboards and a masked man with a gun to his head. Rafman is known for his fascination with digital technology and found images, both of which are well represented here, as the film attempts to engage with “the theme of obsessive desire”.
Predictably, it’s a very NSFW affair – the video was removed from YouTube for violating its terms of service – but is now available on Vimeo.

‘Still Life (Betamale)’ is taken from R Plus Seven, released 30 September. Stream it now here.
