Olly Alexander announces first solo Years & Years single "Starstruck"
Olly Alexander has announced his first solo Years & Years single "Starstruck", which will be released next month.
Years & Years haven't released new music since featuring on Pet Shop Boys' "Dreamland" single in 2019 (aside from covering Pet Shop Boys' "It's A Sin" in January), and today (23 March) Years & Years has announced new single "Starstruck".
The new single announcement comes less than a week after Olly Alexander announced that Years & Years will continue as a "solo project". The statement also confirmed that "Mikey will be part of the Y&Y family and play with us live and Emre will focus on being a writer/producer."
"Starstruck" will be the first solo single from Years & Years since the lineup change.
